  • 4 September 2026 The Marschau Conference opens its 167th session. Water is poured. The delegation of Hichistan is recorded as not present. Report.
  • 19 June 2026 The 215th Victory Day parade. The casualty roll for the year is read. The front-line report is unchanged. Report.
  • 2 November 1987 Fourteen students are tried for assertion of the unyear. Eleven are convicted and given suspended sentences. Three, including K. W., are acquitted for want of evidence that the number referred to a year. Report.
  • 10 April 1987 Over three spring weeks a four-digit number is painted on more than three hundred walls in the Reedside district of Vellmar. The Ministry of Chronology describes it as 'an unlicensed date'. Report.
  • 1 November 1926 Schwartzistan Radio begins broadcasting. The first evening bulletin ends with the front-line report: no change. Report.

  • 10 April 1851 The High Court rules in Brenn v. the Crown that a child whose birth is deemed to have occurred on 31 December 1845 is a person in law and may inherit, and that his age shall be reckoned from the deemed date. Tomas Brenn, aged five, keeps the farm. Report.
  • 20 March 1849 The Continuity of Contracts Act passes. Anything that would have happened in the year that did not occur is deemed to have happened on 31 December 1845 or 1 January 1847. Report.
  • 2 April 1847 The surrender period ends. The Ministry of Chronology reports 41,300 items received and sealed. Chronology House opens its basement archive, which no one has since entered without a warrant signed by three ministers. Report.
  • 2 January 1847 The Assembly passes the Act of Unyear, 58 to 0. The Ministry of Chronology is created to enforce it. Ninety days are given for the surrender of all records. Report.
  • 31 December 1845 Magnus Orrel is elected Grand Chancellor by the Assembly and takes office. Report.
  • 3 November 1845 The War Ministry reports the Second Reed Line Action. Colonel Aurel Dask, Lieutenant Roderik Fenn, Sergeant Bertil Rusk and 37 men of the 1st Marsh Regiment are killed in action. Medals are awarded posthumously. Report.
